About the Development

Rockefeller Group has begun construction of Sycamore Hills Distribution Center on 34.63 net acres in Riverside, Calif. The project includes two buildings totaling 603,100 square feet: a 400,000 square foot building (Building A) and a 203,100 square foot building (Building B).  The project is in California’s Inland Empire East industrial submarket. JPMorgan Chase provided $87.2 million in construction financing to support the project.

“Although the industrial market slowed in 2023 and the first quarter of 2024, we believe that industrial buildings in these size ranges will be in demand by prospective tenants soon before the project is completed in early 2025,” said James V. Camp, Senior Managing Director for Rockefeller Group’s West Region.  “The buildings are being developed on separate land parcels and available for lease or for sale.”
