About the development
Buffalo Run is where Montana’s natural beauty meets modern residential design. Spanning 20.3 acres in an Opportunity Zone, this thoughtfully planned community will feature a mix of modular multifamily residences, townhomes, and duplexes—totaling 237 units across 29 residential buildings. Its location offers the rare combination of sweeping mountain views, easy access to Bozeman’s thriving downtown, and a neighborhood layout designed for both efficiency and livability.
At the heart of the site is a 4,000-square-foot single-family home built in 2016, which will be repurposed as the community’s centerpiece. The existing structure will become Buffalo Run’s Community Center, housing the leasing office and an array of resident amenities. By reimagining rather than rebuilding, the project retains the home’s architectural character while avoiding structural upgrades, resulting in cost savings of more than $1.5 million.
