745 – Seventh Avenue

New York

Crossroads of the World.

Headquarters for Barclays Capital, 745 Seventh Avenue is a 37-story, 1 million square feet financial office tower in midtown Manhattan co-developed by Rockefeller Group with Morgan Stanley. The exceptional design by world-renowned architects Kohn Pedersen Fox takes full advantage of the importance of the site’s strategic location. Located between 49th and 50th Streets, the building’s massing, a series of layers and setbacks falling off to a 75’x 75′ x 75′ cubic illuminated crown, is consistent with both the architectural and zoning context of the neighborhood, making the transition between Rockefeller Center to the east and Times Square to the southwest. The project includes an underground concourse from Rockefeller Center and the 6th Avenue subway to a new entrance and exit to the 7th Avenue Subway at 49th Street.
