Rockefeller Group to Develop 418,500 SF Business Park in Atlanta

Company Plans Second Project in Atlanta Suburb of Braselton in Response to Increasing Demand

ATLANTA, Ga. – October 5, 2021 – Rockefeller Group announced today that it will develop two distribution buildings totaling 418,500 square feet on 39 acres in Braselton, Ga.  The business park, Braselton 85: Phase II, is the company’s second development in Braselton.  In July, the company completed and sold Braselton 85, a 222,618-square-foot distribution center located one mile from the new project. Braselton 85 was leased to Duckyang America Inc., a Korean automotive equipment supplier, and sold to Cabot Properties in July.

Rockefeller Group’s second Braselton project is located on Jesse Cronic Road and Route 124 along the I-85 North corridor in the North Atlanta submarket. It is expected to break ground in December with completion expected in late 2022 and it will include two rear-load distribution buildings totaling 201,000 and 218,000 square feet respectively, both with 32’ clear ceiling heights, 52’ x 50’ column spacing, and ample auto and trailer parking.

“Following the strong demand for our first project in Braselton, we’re excited to announce the plan for Phase II,” said Steven McGee, Director, Southeast Development for Rockefeller Group.  “We are confident that demand from both manufacturers and e-commerce companies remains high and will be consistent with the interest we’ve had previously for new Class-A industrial product.”

Braselton’s location along I-85 provides potential tenants with a distribution channel from Atlanta to Charlotte, bypassing metro-Atlanta traffic.

“We continue to look for well-located projects in Atlanta and its suburbs, believing strongly that the market will continue to grow with more and more companies targeting the region.” said McGee.

Bilijack R. Bell, Joseph W. Rogers and Conner Dickinson of Wilson, Hull & Neal are the exclusive leasing agents for Braselton 85: Phase II.
