About the development

Rockefeller Group has begun construction on a 145,200-square-foot distribution center in Woodbury, NY (Long Island).  The company purchased 9 acres, through an assemblage of 1 Media Crossways and 200 Crossways Park Drive, in December 2021. Cushman & Wakefield is representing Rockefeller Group on the leasing of Crossways Logistics Center.

Crossways Logistics Center is expected to be completed by year-end. The new speculative distribution center will include 36-foot ceiling clear heights, 54’ X 50’ column spacing, more than 270 car spaces, 35 dock doors with an additional 18 spaces of trailer parking, and 60’ speed bays.

Long Island’s existing industrial inventory is functionally obsolete with an average of 50 years old. Crossway Logistics Center offers a product to meet the tenant demand for flight-to-quality and is ideally situated with easy access to the Long Island Expressway. Supply chain resilience and cost savings are driving factors for companies expanding into Long Island.”

Rockefeller Group completed 55 Paradise Lane, a 172,622 square foot development in Bay Shore in March 2023.

The general contractor for Crossways Logistics Center and 55 Paradise Lane is Ronkonkoma-based Aurora Contractors, Inc. The building was designed by Ware Malcomb and the civil engineer is Huntington-based R&M Engineers.
