Amaray Las Olas represented a vision for luxury multifamily living one-block from Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas Boulevard. The 254-unit apartment community, offering studios to three-bedroom apartments, was designed for an amenity-rich, downtown lifestyle. Due to its location, with protected views in nearly every direction, the building was a stunning addition to the skyline, inside and out.

Project Highlights

Completed in 2016, Amaray Las Olas is a 30-story luxury apartment tower in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Developed by Rockefeller Group in partnership with Stiles, the building redefined luxury downtown living, achieving full occupancy at record speed for the Fort Lauderdale market. Located at 215 SE 8th Ave., the tower is located one block from the highly-coveted Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale’s premier downtown dining and shopping corridor.  The 254-unit development is comprised of studios, one, two and three-bedroom apartments with protected city and ocean views.

Results

In 2017, shortly following completion, Rockefeller Group and Stiles sold Amaray Las Olas for north of $133 million, what was then record pricing per unit for the southeast United States. The building set a new benchmark for the market, as evidenced by the speed of the leasing program, which Rockefeller Group attributes to its spectacular location, authentic and singular design and its luxury lifestyle amenities. The building is the new defining landmark on Fort Lauderdale’s skyline.
