Real Estate Development
Steven McGee is Director, Real Estate Development, for Rockefeller Group’s Southeast Region. In this role, he is responsible for the execution of acquisitions, development, and dispositions for the region’s industrial projects. He also works closely with the Regional Development Officer on acquiring additional industrial sites in the Southeast region’s target markets.
Prior to joining Rockefeller Group, Mr. McGee spent seven years as Director of Real Estate for Atlanta-based Americold Realty Trust, a global leader in temperature-controlled logistics. His role at Americold was to manage a 44 million square foot temperature-controlled industrial portfolio consisting of 179 properties; leading all transactions, acquisitions, asset management, site selection and development of the portfolio, while working closely with the firm’s facilities maintenance, business development and construction management departments.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Berry College and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. He is a member of ULI and the Industrial Asset Management Council as well as Vice Chairman and Treasurer of Fulton Industrial Boulevard Community Improvement District (CID) in Atlanta and is a past speaker at the Cushman & Wakefield National Industrial Conference and the Logistics Development Forum.
