About the development

Rockefeller Group is developing a 435,000 square foot industrial distribution center in Antioch, Calif. Antioch Logistics Center will be located on a 22.65-acre parcel at E. 18th Street and Vineyard Drive in Antioch, CA and sits within the East Bay submarket of the Bay Area.

At 435,000 square feet, Antioch Logistics Center represents a unique size in the market, where land constraints have traditionally restricted the development of large buildings so close to the Port. The building’s design will incorporate state-of-the-art features including 36’ minimum clear height, ESFR, up to 10,000 SF of office space, 61 truck dock doors, 398 auto parking stalls, 119 truck trailer spaces, and 56’ x 52’ column spacing, creating an ideal distribution facility.

Irvine-based RGA Architects designed Antioch Logistics Center and the civil engineer is Kier & Wright. The project is expected to be completed in 3rd Quarter 2026.

Thoughtfully Located

Antioch Logistics Center is located within 15 minutes of Walnut Creek, Calif., one of the more affluent areas of Contra Costa County, and close to both Route 4 and I-680, providing easy access to San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose.

The Houston MSA continues to attract occupiers that are new to the market as companies expand their supply chains across the country. Also, Baytown plays a vital role as an energy export hub, with one of the largest industrial sectors in the U.S. and home to some of the top exporters of crude oil and natural gas.

First Industrial Project in Northern California

“Rockefeller Group is pleased to be expanding our industrial development platform to Northern California and the East Bay area,” said J.P. Harlow, Managing Director for Rockefeller Group’s West region.  “Antioch’s close proximity to the Port of Oakland, combined with strong demand of e-commerce, corporate distribution, and third-party logistics providers, makes this site an ideal location.”

Added Mark Hilton Carpenter Jr., Director for Rockefeller Group’s West Region. “We are excited to develop the newest and largest Class A distribution facility in the Bay Area and remain confident in the region’s long-term potential as we seek additional opportunities.”
