Design & Construction
Manny Egoegonwa is Director, Design & Construction, for Rockefeller Group’s Mid-Atlantic Region. He currently oversees the completion of work at the redevelopment of 1901 L Street, a 212,500-square foot class-A office building in Washington D.C., assuring the on-time delivery of tenant spaces. He also directs the design and pre-construction efforts on the 416,000-square-foot repositioning of the Jackson Graham Building site located at 600 5th Street NW in Washington, a project the company is pursuing in partnership with Stonebridge. Mr. Egoegonwa manages all aspects of the design and construction on the existing building, including the addition of three floors and the transition to a mixed-use building.
Prior to joining Rockefeller Group, Mr. Egoegonwa was Development Manager at Bozzuto Development, a Maryland-based mixed-use developer. While at Bozzuto, he was responsible for managing the entire development process of mixed-use projects in the Washington D.C. metro area, from initial underwriting through construction, lease-up and stabilization. His mixed-use project experience included approximately 1,000 multifamily apartments, significant retail programs, and ancillary office and other uses.
Before joining Bozzuto, Mr. Egoegonwa worked for Clark Construction as a Project Engineer, where he coordinated field and quality control activities on projects ranging from hospitals, governmental agency office, and condo projects.
He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (Washington DC Chapter), and the District of Columbia Building Industry Association.
Mr. Egoegonwa holds a master’s degree in Real Estate Development from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in Architecture & Design from Howard University.
