NEW YORK, NY – August 10, 2016 – The Rockefeller Group announced today that development and real estate capital markets executive Daniel J. Moore has joined the company as Executive Vice President and Head of Urban Development nationally.  He is based in Manhattan.

Previously, Mr. Moore was a Managing Director at Hines Interests, L.P., in Washington, D.C., responsible for the company’s new business development and equity capital relationships throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.  In that capacity, he was the officer in charge of 1213 Walnut, a 26-story, 322-unit apartment project in Center City Philadelphia, Hines’ first new development in that city.

Throughout the United States, The Rockefeller Group has several major development projects in planning or construction spanning office, residential, retail and hospitality.  Current projects nearing completion include the first phase of Flushing Commons, a master-planned mixed-use development in New York City; Amaray Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Liv Northgate in Gilbert, Ariz.; and AVE Florham Park at The Green at Florham Park in Florham Park, N.J., which is also home to BASF’s North American headquarters, the Summit Medical Building and the New York Jets training facility.
