Rockefeller Group Development Corporation Breaks Ground on Chandler Corporate Center

Occupancy Expected in Spring 2009

Phoenix, AZ, August 19, 2008 – Rockefeller Group Development Corporation (RGDC) recently broke ground on a 70,600-square-foot Class-A office building at Chandler Corporate Center, a master-planned business park at the southwest corner of McClintock Drive and Desert Breeze Boulevard in Chandler.  The project is approved for office and light industrial totaling 248,000 square feet on the 24.3-acre property.

“In July, we officially began construction on the property,” said Mark Singerman, Regional Director at RGDC’s new Phoenix office.  “The construction will proceed in phases with the first building, a two-story multi-tenant office building, expected to be completed in Spring 2009.”

Along with the 70,600-square-foot office building, RGDC has approximately 16 acres available for build-to-suit or parcels for sale to users.

“Chandler is emerging as the newest Southeast Metropolitan Phoenix office market,” said Christine Mackay, Senior Economic Development Specialist for the City of Chandler. “Chandler Corporate Center is one of several exciting new developments that will provide high quality office space to the business, financial, medical, life sciences, information services and software development industries.”

The office building, like all buildings being developed by The Rockefeller Group, is seeking LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).  State-of-the-art materials and finishes will set the building apart from other properties in the immediate area.  Lobbies and corridors have been designed to accommodate a wide range of tenant sizes. With a parking ratio of nearly seven spaces per 1,000 square feet of office space, the building has a great amount of flexibility.  This development was designed to attract and accommodate today’s knowledge workforce.
