Masahiro Kobayashi is Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for The Rockefeller Group. In this position, Mr. Kobayashi oversees the company’s Treasury, Internal Audit, Business Planning, and Business Analysis departments.

Before joining the company in 2008, Mr. Kobayashi was the executive in charge of the International Business Department of Mitsubishi Estate Company, the parent company of The Rockefeller Group.  He had held that position since October 2006 and became very familiar with the operations of The Rockefeller Group, which is a division of the International Business Department.

Mr. Kobayashi holds a degree in Economics from  Hitotsubashi University.  His international credentials include residency in the United States and the United. Kingdom for a total of eight years. This is his first assignment in New York City.
