Thomas E. McCormick, SIOR, FRICS Senior Vice President National Accounts
Thomas E. McCormick, III, SIOR, FRICS is Senior Vice President, National Accounts for the Rockefeller Group. In this capacity, Mr. McCormick leverages his national industry and corporate relationships to build the company’s development pipeline across the United States, working closely with the company’s Urban and Industrial Development leadership, Regional Development Officers and Regional Directors. He is charged with sourcing development and land-acquisition opportunities that fit within the company’s stated investment criteria, and cultivates corporate relationships with the aim of identifying potential build-to-suit opportunities.
Mr. McCormick was previously Senior Vice President and Regional Development Officer for the company’s Western Region where his responsibilities included developing new opportunities for industrial and office real estate business through his extensive contacts in both the brokerage and end-user communities.
A former National President and a longtime member of the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS (SIOR), Mr. McCormick began his real estate career with Coldwell Banker Commercial in 1981. In 2004 after three years as President of Colliers Macaulay Nicolls, a privately held Canadian-based commercial brokerage firm with 100+ offices around the world, Mr. McCormick left to become COO of Panattoni Development Company, which is one of the largest industrial developers in the United States.
In addition to his membership in the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS, Mr. McCormick is also actively involved in SIOR’s Foundation, serving as President in 1999 and 2000. In 2010 Tom was recognized by the London, England based Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) through their eminent professional track as a Fellow, Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS).
